Winter is a good season for free IU South Bend entertainment. Instead of battling the snowy roads this season, just stay on campus and enjoy the show.
There are a few events for the remaining days of January. The Toradze Studio, which boasts the most talented musicians on our campus, will be showing another piano recital on Thursday, January 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the campus auditorium. The Toradze Studio is free to students and is always a great show.
On Friday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the campus auditorium, the "Free Radicals" will perform. The "Free Radicals" are a team of musicians—Lara Lev on violin and Matti Rackallio on piano.
February's highlight will definitely be the Michiana Monologues. The performances will be on February 16 at 7 p.m. in Northside Recital Hall 158. The Michiana Monologues features locally written monologues about the personal experiences of many different women. There will also be a silent auction accompanying the performance to raise awareness for women in crisis.
