Need to de-stress before finals week? Come join Titan Productions for a day of music, fun, and food.
"We are trying to start a new campus tradition," Sam Centellas, director of Student Life said. "A large scale spring outdoor event, with food, music, and students enjoying the end of the semester."
The event will be held Friday, April 30 on the lawn of the student housing complex. Students are encouraged to walk over, but parking is available. If it should happen to rain, the event will be moved inside to the Student Activity Center.
According to the flyers on campus, there will be musical entertainment, and student groups will have booths.
In addition, Titan Productions president, Angela Santos, said there will be a dunk tank offered by Delta Sigma Phi.
"You buy balls for a dollar and get a chance to dunk one of the cute fraternity boys."
The poker club will have four tables set up for playing games, Theta Phi Alpha will be selling port-a-pit chicken, and Kona Ice will be selling snow cones.
"We're just doing everything we can to make this festival fun," said Santos.
"We want students to have an outlet for relaxation before finals next week. It's going to be great."
